What I did Today

Today, I woke up and grabbed lunch my girlfriend dad and I all went to subway. Then we went for a hike just across the bridge at the lake oswego high school. It was a bit overcast but nevertheless a nice day for a hike. We noted that blackberry season is fast approaching aswellas how much dryer the trails are as of late. Unfortunately, all the colorful flowers weren't in bloom as they were the last time we went. Looking at the basalt cliffs made me want to go rock climbing. A short while later we all, went to the Oregon city art festival. Many of the artists work was in novel mediums. I bought a postcard print that was abstract in the colors blue white and green. From an artist whose medium was beeswax burned onto wood, (though I cant recall the name of the process). Then, we all went and got some gallato. When, my girl friend and I got back I, went for a run. I didn't move very fast in the heat of the day but I think the sun and fresh air did me some good because I was able to leave for work in high spirits. Just before work I ate dinner. Work went quickly (only a four hour shift). I think I'll go to bed soon. Though I might sneak in a midnight run. Until later
